Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard

Hi, I’m Alexandr Kalinin

I am a Postdoctoral Associate in Machine learning for Computational Biology at the Imaging Plaform of Broad Institute, where I work with Shantanu Singh and Anne Carpenter. I’m interested in developing and applying machine learning methods for studying cellular organization and improving disease diagnosis and treatment.

In 2019-2021, I was an International Postdoctoral Fellow jointly at the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD) and the University of Michigan, working with Xiang Wan and Brian Athey. I received my PhD in Bioinformatics from the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan, where I worked with Ivo Dinov and Brian Athey.
