Special Issue "Deep Learning for Computer-Aided Diagnosis in Biomedical Imaging"

I’m serving as a Guest Editor for the Special Issue of Diagnostics titled “Deep Learning for Computer-Aided Diagnosis in Biomedical Imaging”

We will consider papers focused on deep learning applications for automated classification, localization, retrieval, and segmentation of molecules, cells, lesions, nodules, tumors, organs and other structures of interest from biomedical images. Specifically, I’m very interested in research that addresses challenges in deep learning applications, such as learning from small, imbalanced, and noisy data, estimating model uncertainty, evaluating and interpreting models, limiting computing requirements, and designing and building interfaces between algorithms and clinicians. All papers will be published as Open Access.

Submission deadline: 31 March 2021
